How It Works
Each course is fully self-paced, allowing families to move at a rhythm that fits their homeschool schedule. Here’s how most families use the program:
Watch the video lesson for the current section (usually 30–50 minutes).
Begin the assignment in the recommended textbook, stopping at the end of your student’s daily math time.
Continue the assignment the next day — and a third, if needed.
After a few sections (or at the end of a chapter), the student takes a practice test for review, followed by the graded test the next day.
Repeat the process until the course is complete.
Stuck? Help is available.
- Rewatch the lesson
- Review textbook examples
- Use the solutions manual (optional)
- Or email Dana directly with your question — support is included!

What people are saying
Can I just say, you are such an amazing teacher. Teachers like you are literally one in a million. Thank you so much. You have no idea how much you’ve helped me with college. Well worth the money.
I just wanted to say thank you for this wonderful program. It has really worked wonders with my daughter, who used to dread and hate math. She would always say how bad she was at Math. We have used the Basic Math since late August, and she actually looks forward to every math day! The best thing is that it has given her confidence in her ability to learn math. We have tried many other programs and I am just so thankful to have found this one because it is the only one that has really worked.
We are planning for our daughter’s junior year of high school next year. She has completed Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2. Your curriculum has been such a blessing to us.
My child is finally saying that he is getting to ‘love’ math, but only after purchasing your videos.
I am an 11th year teacher, 1st year Calculus AB teacher in Scottsdale USD in Arizona. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate your videos, not only as a resource for our students, but also for me as I prepare my lessons. Anyway, I just want to say thank you so much for your excellent presentations! I and my students sincerely appreciate your talent for teaching.
I do not believe there is any rational reason why any student would fail math if they simply tried if they were using your video lessons – your explanations are positively fantastic and a true blessing to any student who is trying.
