Family Math Success

I've been using Chalk Dust materials the last three years for both Precalculus and Calculus. Last year, I received a perfect score on the SAT Subject Test for Mathematics Level 2, and I also scored quite well on the math sections of the SAT and ACT. Yesterday morning I took the AP Calculus AB exam, and I'm confident I'll receive college credit. I know your teaching played a large part in these successes, so I just wanted to drop you a note to thank you. I rate you among the very best teachers I've ever had.

I had my class last night. Showed your videos. Also tried to show some other videos that I had obtained. The students said stop those videos as we want to see more of those that feature you. You were the accepted star. Just wanted you to know that your fine works are helping my students. One student came to me before class that was considering dropping the class. Since the beginning of summer I have been thoroughly watching and sometimes studying your DVD's. These are rare gems of teaching and treasures for hungry student minds, absolutely on par with the Walter Lewin freshman physics videos at MIT. I am a structural engineer from California, so you know what I've already been through. My daughter, however, is a 12-year-old 8th grader, currently watching your algebra and trig series while doing algebra II at the high school. She loves your videos.

We have home educated our children from the beginning and have 2 in college and 1 in high school.  Our two college-age children did great on their SAT's (thanks to their Chalk Dust Math and the SAT prep videos) and ended up getting full scholarships to a small, private college in Kentucky.  Now we're going through the high school math program again with our youngest child, who has always struggled with math.  Two years ago we did your Basic Math program and for the first time she understood math!  Last year she did Prealgebra.  Now she is sailing through Algebra I.&

I have learned so much more from your videos than I have in class.

Just wanted to say that both of my kids are enjoying math (well, at least they are understanding it and not complaining or bewildered.)  They really like Mr. Mosely's teaching style and I find it quite engaging myself.  Sometimes my son (studying Algebra II) will call me down to see and hear something funny that Mr.

You sir are an outstanding teacher of mathematics and related courses.  I have been teaching (students) mathematics for over 37 years and when I come across textbooks wherein you are hosting the video and/or DVD lectures, I look no further for math related materials; you are, as we say in Maine, “Top Shelf.

I never thought that a pre-recorded lecture would blow away any experience I would have in a regular class room.

I just completed my first online course using your DVD based lecture for College Trigonometry.  At first I thought that I would struggle not having direct one-on-one communication with my instructor.  That has certainly not been the case.

I want to thank you for your awesome math program! I used to not like math a whole lot until last year, when I tried out the Algebra II program that Chalk Dust offers. I do not believe there is any rational reason why any student would fail math if they simply tried if they were using your DVDs - your explanations are positively fantastic and a true blessing to any student who is trying.

I just wanted to say thank you for this wonderful program. It has really worked wonders with my daughter, who used to dread and hate math. She would always say how bad she was at Math. We have used the Basic Math since late August, and she actually looks forward to every math day! The best thing is that it has given her confidence in her ability to learn math. We have tried many other programs and I am just so thankful to have found this one because it is the only one that has really worked.
